Sally Quantrill

Sally Quantrill (flute), originally from Suffolk, read music at Leeds University from where she graduated in 1996. Whilst at Leeds she held a scholarship for three years and won the 1995/1996 Lord Snowden Prize. Sally also studied at the Franz Liszt Musikhochschule, Weimar, Germany and at The Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama where she was awarded the Certificate of Postgraduate Studies in Performance. Sally has been a past prize winner in the Norfolk Young Musician of the year Competition and in the 2002 Anglo-Czechoslovak Trust Competition in London. She is continuing her studies with Kate Hill. Sally currently lives in Hertford and enjoys a varied career teaching and performing. Sally currently holds the position of Head of Music at a secondary school in Hertfordshire.
